At one point in time, AMT Lawyers and Associates was a young man’s mere daydream while sitting at a lecture hall at La Trobe University. Fast forward eight years, AMT is an esteemed boutique firm that is now renowned for its strong advocacy and thorough advice.

AMT Lawyers and Associates has loyally serviced Melbourne’s northern communities since its inception in 2020. We were first located in Fawkner before moving to Oak Park in early 2024. Our new location is brand new – you can probably still smell the fresh paint! We’re surrounded by fantastic local businesses, and we recommend dropping in next door for a coffee and lunch before or after your appointment. Our principal Ahmad Taha is a local, born and raised in the heart of Melbourne’s north. He graduated from La Trobe University in 2016 with a Bachelor of Law and Bachelor of Business. Since then, he has amassed a wealth of legal experience working at different firms, before taking the plunge and opening a firm of his own. Ahmad is known for his immaculate court demeanour, and his commercial acumen which he has developed through multiple successful business projects of his own. When he is not busy running the office, he is watching his beloved Collingwood play, and spending time with his young family.

Alongside Ahmad in our AMT Team, we also have Noor (Senior Conveyancer), Muhammad (Solicitor), Fatma (Accounts Manager), Isabella (Practice Manager), and Sarah (Paralegal). They all contribute to an office space that is vibrant and collaborative, albeit a little loud at times.
